This loft bed has almost 6 feet of underbed height, plenty of space to add a desk, extra storage or a lounge area with plenty of standing room. Designed with safety in mind, this loft bed has 2 cross bars on 3 sides to add extra strength and stability. The straight ladder has wide, grooved steps to make it easy to climb up and rests flush against the front of the bed to save space. We do not recommend this bed for kids under the age of 12, and we suggest using the included anti-tip kit to attach the loft bed to the wall for increased safety and stability. This loft bed is assembled upside down and then flipped, so ceiling height must be greater than 97.86 inches high for assembly. Perfect for older kids and teenagers, this loft bed can easily transition with your child from grade school to college.
