Warranty

GENERAL

BedSmart products are covered by the manufacturer’s limited warranty. BedSmart does not provide its own warranty; instead, we help you file and resolve your claim directly with the manufacturer.
Maxwood Furniture, Inc warrant Max & Lily® and Jackpot® products.
Maxtrix® products are covered by Maxtrix’s manufacturer warranty.
The manufacturer’s warranty is limited to defects in materials and workmanship under normal residential household use. Defective items or parts will be repaired or replaced without charge for the part, at the manufacturer’s sole discretion. Except as stated under “Transportation Costs” below, shipping and labor costs are the customer’s responsibility.
The warranty applies to normal household use and does not apply to purchases for resale, commercial, institutional, or rental use. It does not cover damage resulting from improper handling, misuse, negligence, accidents, or modifications made to the product by the purchaser, and is not valid for floor models or “as-is” products sold in a distressed or going-out-of-business sale.

HOW TO MAKE A CLAIM

Report any defect to BedSmart at info@bedsmart.ca. Please include your original sales receipt, a description of the issue, and photos documenting the damage or defect. BedSmart will work directly with the manufacturer to resolve all reported problems for the original purchaser.

TRANSPORTATION COSTS

Within one (1) year of the original purchase date, the cost of transporting merchandise for a valid warranty claim is covered. This does not include packaging or labor. For claims made more than one year after the purchase date, all packaging, labor, and shipping costs for replacement of damaged or defective parts are the responsibility of the original purchaser.

BEDS & PARTS

Maxwood (Max & Lily® / Jackpot®) beds carry a one (1) year warranty covering all main bed components used to create the bed system. Maxtrix® beds are covered under Maxtrix’s manufacturer warranty.

CASE GOODS

Case goods carry a one (1) year warranty. Case goods are defined as bookcases, dressers, desks, hutches, and bedside storage items.

FABRICS

Fabric and upholstered components do not carry warranty coverage.

MATTRESSES

Mattresses carry a ten (10) year prorated warranty: the value of the warranty decreases by 10% each year from the original purchase date. After ten years, the mattress warranty expires.

DIMENSIONS

Every effort is made to maintain current and accurate descriptions, sizes, and prices. Information on this website is provided as accurately as known, but accuracy is not guaranteed.
