WOULD A REGULAR MATTRESS WORK ON A MAXTRIX BED
Yes, Maxtrix beds are designed to be used with standard twin or full size mattresses. However the recommended thickness of the mattress for Loft and Bunk Beds is 6″ for safety purposes as it provides more distance between the top of the mattress and the top of the guard rail. For Maxtrix Beds that are directly on the floor (Regular Beds):even if your mattress is slightly thicker than 8″, you can still use it with the Maxtrix beds as long as the thickness does not exceed 10″.
HOW MUCH WIEGHT DOES THE BED HOLD?
Maxtrix Beds are tested for a capacity of 800 lbs. which means that it is safely used for a weight of 400 lbs.

WHAT TYPE OF WOOD IS USED?
Maxtrix furniture is crafted from the finest Maple and Birch hardwood and birch hardwood veneers.
IS THERE ANY LEAD IN MAXTRIX FURNITURE FINISHES?
Maxtrix finishes are safe and tested to not contain any lead in the finish.
WHAT KIND OF PAINT DO THEY USE FOR MAXTRIX FURNITURE?
All Maxtrix Beds are finished with safe paints and lacquers and are in compliance with all current regulations – both European and North American.
WHY ARE FINIALS SOLD SEPARATELY?
First of all this gives you the opportunity to choose from a variety of finials. Secondly, the new regulations require all Bunk Beds and Loft Beds to not have any finials. Finials are recommended for use when the beds are converted to a regular twin or full bed with no bunk or loft extensions.
DOES THE TOWER FIT ON A BUNK BED OR OTHER THAN THE LOW LOFT?
The Maxtrix tower is designed to fit only over the Maxtrix low loft bed with the slide.
HOW HIGH SHOULD THE CEILING BE IN ORDER TO FIT A BED WITH A TOWER?
Standard height ceilings are usually 8 ft high , which is enough for the tower ( 90-1/4”)
