Why the extra width earns its floor space

A full gives a growing kid room to sprawl, and it gives you room to sit properly during bedtime stories instead of balancing on the edge of a twin. If the room can take the width, it is the bed you stop replacing.

Knot-free solid pine and aspen

Solid wood, not particleboard or veneered panel. Knot-free stock keeps the long side rails consistent, which is what you want on a wider frame carrying more mattress. The finish is GREENGUARD Gold Certified, tested for low chemical emissions, so a freshly built bed does not fill a closed bedroom with smell.

The slatted headboard

Open slats instead of a solid panel keep the wall behind visible and the room feeling lighter, which stops a full-size frame from dominating a mid-sized bedroom. It comes in Black, Blonde, White/Blonde and Blonde/Black, the same light Nordic palette as the rest of the Scandinavian range, so a matching dresser or nightstand is a straightforward add later.
