What is in the box

Three boxes: the twin low loft bed, a 3-shelf bookcase and a 6-shelf bookcase. Both bookcases have solid backing.

Built for a smaller room

This is a low loft rather than a high one. It stands 50 inches from the floor to the top of the guardrail, which keeps it usable under a standard or sloped ceiling and puts it within reach of younger children who are not ready to climb high. Underneath there is 33.25 inches of clear height, enough for the two bookcases with room left over.

Mattress

Designed for a standard twin mattress, 75 x 38 inches, sold separately. Max & Lily recommend nothing over 8 inches thick so the guardrail keeps its full height.
